Summary
Peter Parker is seventeen and he loses everything he has.
Aunt May, Ned, MJ, Happy, his vigilante friends…Peter loses all of them. Trying to undo the damage Mysterio caused by leaking his identity, Peter ends up messing up the whole fucking multiverse, because of course he does, because of course nothing can ever go well when Peter Parker is involved. In the end Peter makes one last sacrifice in order to set things right.
As Peter's very existence becomes the one thing threatening to make his universe collapse, he asks Doctor Strange to cast a new spell, one that will make the world entirely forget about the existence of Peter Parker or Spider-Man. The world does forget him, and without anything left to tether his existence down to this universe without compromising its safety, the world rejects him.
Dying for a second time and waking up in a watt of green water, Peter is forced to confront the oddities of a new world and inevitably, make it his new home.
or: Strange's spell isn't a simple as it seems and Peter promptly dies, gets revived by some weird green sludge and finds himself in Gotham

On that same day, he meets a harbinger, who's hatred for Mondstat and it's absentee archon still burns as much as it did those 500 years ago. When confronted with a deal, he accepts, after all what else has he got to lose?

Charlie awakes in green sunlit field, a decidedly different place from the closed off and dark place that was the Showfall media studio, his friends, Ranboo and Sneeg, laying at his side.
A group of people and... egg-dragon children? Come rushing up to them.
Huh? What do they mean? Missing for months? And who's this man, claiming to be his husband? Could they be from the life before he was taken by Showfall media?

He leans back and watches the sky bleed into itself, fold its colors like origami and then shape it into the night. He listens to dinner being made and Tony talking on the phone angrily, runs his hands through his hair. If he stretches his arms up and up, so that his hands are completely vertical above him, he can pretend that there is nothing holding him down. That the invisible stars are just to his back and he sees.
Nothing.
He exists in nothing, and for some reason, that is the most comforting thought.

In a world where Peter Parker is just a little bit older during the events of Civil War he never joins up with Iron Man to help in the fight. In a series of events unknown to the public Spider-Man is missing. The last anyone has seen of him was during a fight in Times Square where he was carried off, in bad shape, by the Fantastic Four. The government says he's dead and that should be the end of the story.
Five years later, Harley Keener, Gwen Stacy, Eddie Brock, and Abby Keener are on their third season of their award winning podcast- Unmasked, where they pick a hero that has disappeared due to the passed Sokovia Accords and deep dive into their lives. For their third season, they chose New York’s favorite - Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Unintentionally, Harley finds himself being tugged into a story he never expected.
Meanwhile, Peter Parker is being reminded that, sometimes, the vigilante life will come knocking - no matter how hard he tries to be done with it. After all, "with great power, comes great responsibility."
