These creatures trying to invade the dimension Henry defended. That HE was supposed to defend. The ones that had been terrorizing the other monsters, that had been poisoning Henry's plan.

The Trials were never fun, at least not for the survivors that were forced to participate in them. The one ounce of solace in a Trial Leon Kennedy had was Ji-Woon Hak, the Trickster--surprisingly enough. The threat the killer had made, that Leon was his, that if he was hurt severely there'd be consequences.
Most of the killers that could comprehend their situation understood, and left Leon alone.
But some--specifically Julie and Frank of The Legion, took The Trickster's words as a challenge to mori Leon as often as possible.

Synthetic fingers twisted on circuitry as Crypto watched, pale and horrified, unable to move. He felt weak, his body trembling faintly as he tried to glare defiantly at the simulacrums above him.
Glittering yellow eyes amused in his suffering as slender fidgets jerked and yanked on a wire, making Crypto’s body jolt as blood came with it.
Somewhere in the distance he heard gunshots, and the telltale words.
“Champion Eliminated.”
Bangalore’s squad must have been taken out. Which meant it was just Crypto, Elliott, and Octane against Revenant, Ash and Pathfinder.
And two of the three robots were hovering above him, spilling his guts across the Command Center live for millions of viewers.
Crypto felt dizzyingly sick.
