The best fic I've read in my entire life. Literally a masterpiece, the type you have to hold off from rereading for a couple of years before you can pick it up and experience the story again. Characterisation is layered and very thorough, overall it felt as if I was watching a movie where stakes were extremely high.

“Thank you for seizing the day,” Nene says happily. She sips her smoothie, also happily. She pushes it across the table, happily, to offer Amane a sip which he accepts from Nene’s own straw; happily, she takes it back. Happily is the state in which Nene will do everything she ever does in all the rest of her life.
