“Look, I think we both know what’s going on here,” Steve sighs, running a hand through his hair.
Eddie feels every nerve ending prickle with heat. Yeah, what’s going on is he wants to smash Steve’s pretty little face in, leave him bloody and bruised right here by the fire. He wants to get his hands on him, make him beg for mercy, maybe even whimper a little. He wants it so bad it makes him dizzy. Eddie balls his hands into fists in his lap, feels the adrenaline buzz through his body and tampers it down by grinding his teeth together.
“I think we should just fuck once and get it over with,” Steve finishes.
The bloodlust dies on Eddie’s tongue, evaporates like dew and leaves his mouth dry.
“WHAT?!” He splutters out, half intelligible.
“...What?”
