Taking a shaky breath, Marlene places her hands in her lap and pointedly studies the elaborate mural of the Eiffel Tower on the wall of the back dining room of La Restaurant Bleu. The chain restaurant was known for its popular French-inspired cuisine and… excessive Parisian theming. Marlene is lucky that new servers don’t have to wear berets. Well, knock on wood.
In which Marlene McKinnon, Remus Lupin, and Emmeline Vance are the newest hires at a corporate chain restaurant and have to survive bad managers, server drama, and the WORST guests. Marlene is trying to juggle placing the right orders and her hopeless crush on the intimidating server-bartender, Remus is being wooed by a very charming host, and Emmeline… she’s just trying her best. Possible romance? Possible heartbreak?? Possible write-ups??? Welcome to the industry, baby.

After their father mysteriously dropped off the face of the earth, Wilbur and Thomas ('it's Tommy!') Watson were thrust into the foster system. They were promptly separated when Tommy was fostered by a newly married couple, while Wilbur was not. Six years later, Tommy runs away to where his brother, now listed as Wilbur Soot, works a grimy nine-to-five job and tries to forget the life he lost.
