Capitano’s massive gloved hand wrapped teasingly around Diluc’s neck, shaking him from his thoughts. The grip was tight and firm but lacked the intention to choke. Rather, the hand around his neck was an assertion of dominance and power. “So,” Capitano’s husky voice growled, mask inching closer to Diluc’s face. “Who sent you here?”
Diluc’s eyes flickered across the dark void of a face looming in front of him, hoping to find some sort of gaze, but again, his efforts were futile. At this point, he wasn't sure if the face behind the mask was even human.
“I already told you,” Diluc replied, holding his ground. “You’d better just kill me.”

Kaeya sputtered into his drink, his lilac eye staring up at the man who just spoke. He wet his lips, blinking owlishly at Diluc and stared back down at his wine glass, wondering if he had been drinking so much, he was drunk.

They would have rotted, perchance withered away into nothingness as Kaeya tried to move on with his life, but nothing escapes the Chief Alchemist's sharp nose.
However, the journey is not an easy one... When dealing with difficult personalities, there is some rough terrain to get through. And some up and down levels of bullshit as well. Horrors of which not even the sharpest of wit could have predicted.
One finds themselves asking the question 'how can not one, but two grown men manage to be this childish?'

Kaeya is far too distracting, too good-looking, in his current situation. The eyes of the younger knights wander far too low and for far too long, caressing Kaeya's exposed legs and shoulders. It's better for everyone if Kaeya changes, then, before Diluc is forced to take some drastic action.
"Fair enough," Kaeya agrees. "If I win… I'd like a kiss."
