He zoomed in and looked for critical damage first. Rust, improper welds, things of that sort. Glad to find a lack of maroon rash or even puncture damage, Ratchet leaned back. Glancing up at Bumblebee for an answer, he found that the young bot had grown distant.
"It's hard to walk I guess," he said eventually. "Like… If I'm not careful they'll pop right off."
Or; after Wasp and Ironhide removed his lower legs during their time at boot camp, Bumblebee goes to Ratchet for help with his residual pain from the event.

Gestures a dark servo at Rodimus. “Proposed transportation.” He interlaces his digits on the table, but nothing else of him moves. “Is this necessary?”
“You mean am I necessary.” Not a question. A statement.
“Yes.” Absolute. Red. “To this ship; I believe you are superfluous.”

Primus was all knowing maybe, but just like he said, he wasn’t all powerful. Primus couldn’t send him back. But Sam could.
Worst case scenario, he evaporates into nothingness, but at least that would be better than spending an eternity here, watching everyone he loves die, watching as another version of himself enjoys everything he had been fighting for.
Was it dramatic? Probably. But Sam was young, he was meant to be dramatic. And for his family, he’s done crazier things.
Or: Sam gets transported to the Transformers Prime universe and ends up messing up fate's plans for its inhabitants, for the better, or for the worse.

Summary
As Optimus walked, he heard a rustle behind himself and paused. He turned around to see the seeker shrink back behind a tree. His wings stuck out on either side.
Optimus frowned. “What… are you doing?”
The seeker peeped out at him.
“Um, following you,” he mumbled, his wings twitching.After an accident during a skirmish with the seekers, Optimus finds himself stranded in the middle of nowhere with no way of communicating his comrades. Luckily, he has a companion.
Unluckily, it's the impertinent teleporter.
