It's there in the way Lando watches him from across a garage, the way he can't quite finish a sentence when Oscar smiles at him, the confession he's tried and failed to make more times than he can count. His friends are tired of being his therapists. He's tired of being a coward.

The Queen of Hearts threw a lavish tea party after her children and their new found friends stopped Maddox Hatter's plan to steal the pocket watch. And they lived happily ever after.
Alex didn't care for that ending since she felt like it was quite unfair for the Hatter's family, but she couldn't tell anyone about it since she was a grown woman watching a Disney movie in her free time.
That was until her mirror shone brightly and she found herself in the room of Princess Pink with a few dozen spears pointed at her before getting thrown in a cell with a mad man.
Which was even weirder because he stared at her like he was the most precious thing in the world, and then he muttered to himself that this time, he wouldn't let her go.

Summary
Red and Chloe have faced stressful situations and drastic changes in this new timeline. Now, they must embark on an adventure alongside new companions, including Red's younger sister who shouldn't even exist. The biggest problem, however, is that Maddox is a far more disturbed and dangerous villain, given that he knows Wonderland better than anyone else.
The two girls need to survive while keeping an eye on the meddlesome teenagers who joined the adventure without their permission. The games are becoming increasingly risky, far removed from the goal of actually saving Bridget and far more dangerous than they anticipated, all while they grapple with their feelings for each other amidst Maddox's deadly challenges.
Oh, and for some reason, their new companions seem charmed by Red and Chloe, who really just want to survive.

Summary
No one knows what happens when you mess with time. Red knew the risks before she time-traveled, but it was worth it to her. I mean, her mother was a good person now. Sure, she had a sister now that she knew nothing about, but she wasn't living in fear of getting her head chopped off anymore. There were some other changes as well, like the fact that Max Hatter, the kid who used to wear button-downs, was now a VK, and also apparently they had had some sort of relationship she knew nothing about.
Not only does Red have to deal with all these changes, but her mother has also been taken by Maddox, so now she and Chloe will have to face Wonderland with a group of people they don't really know. While also having to keep the fact that they changed the timeline to themselves.

Luis and Robbie aren't really here because I didn't really like their characters. Also I understand what they were trying to do with Luis and Red, but I feel like Max and Red would've been a better pairing.

Max grows up on the isle of the lost with his "mad" father and never thinks he'll leave until he receives a letter asking him to attend Auradon prep.
Red misses the one friend she had in Wonderland but no one seems happy when she asks about him and when she finds out where he's been sent she's determined to find out why and hopefully help him.
AKA: The movie was okay but it's not what I wanted so I'm writing a fic instead lmao Also I haven't entirely figured out what relationships are in this (if any) except for glassheart but that's mostly just background stuff.
