'400 year-old pocket knife restoration,' the title says, and the still thumbnail is a picture of an anonymous man's hands dipping an unidentified object – though he's willing to guess it's the aforementioned four-hundred year-old knife – into what looks like a baking soda bath.
And then it cuts to a video of the knife.

Hob Gadling watches an ASMR video about knife restoration and gets a bit in his feelings about the whole thing (sometimes immortality isn't all it's cracked up to be). Thankfully, he has a friend who understands.

"Flying was everything I had ever wished for, and more. It’s one of the best experiences I ever had in my long life, even though it was during wartime.”
Hob goes on to explain how much fun he’d had in gliders between the two wars, and how he’d been a pilot again during World War 2. He describes the race to space, and how it had really wrenched his heart that he could not take part in it. It would have been way too dangerous for his anonymity.
“And that’s why, when the 21st century started, I decided I wanted to understand how it worked. I got a degree in aeronautics, and before I knew it I was in the middle of a PhD. That’s how I became a physicist.”
“I remember recruiting two physicists in 1909, to work for me," Dream says pensively. “Henri Bénard and Theodore von Kármán.”
Hob’s eyebrows lifts.
“You had a bit of a vortex problem?”---
Or, Hob decided to study aerodynamics, and uses his knowledge to investigate the phenomenon of the dream vortex. And falls in love in the process.

After handing over the key to Hell to Dream of the Endless, Lucifer Morningstar fends off an attack by Azazel, an attempt to devour their grace and become the new Lord of Hell. Injured and having lost their memories in the process, and needing a place to lay low and recover, they're brought to the last place in the world that any self-respecting demon would look. Much to Johanna Constantine's dismay.

Strictly speaking, neither of them need to breathe. Their lungs, their hearts; these are merely ornamentations of their human forms. But Calliope still feels her breath crystallise like amber inside her chest as she reaches for him.
He is cool to the touch, as he has always been. Her arms slip around his shoulders, and he shudders against her, arches toward the touch. His pyjamas must be silk, she realises with a squeeze of affection. Decadent thing. Very little of their bare skin connects: her wrist brushing against his neck is all there is.
“Tell me, Oneiros,” she urges, unable to settle until she knows how he feels. After what she has survived, the thought of him staying silent through any discomfort she might cause him—no matter how slight—is abhorrent.
“Good.” The murmur is naught but a warm breath in the air between them. “Calliope. It is good.”
Once, Calliope asked Oneiros if she might visit him in the Dream Realm. In the end, it is he who comes to her.
