Summary
Will Graham has come to a terrible revelation: Hannibal is the Chesapeake Ripper. With this knowledge he nearly drowns himself in whiskey, doubt, and the guilt of wishing he could forget. He starts to spiral about all that he thought he knew; the beginnings of an unraveling that is at the fault of a man who he thought was a true friend. Then, he hears a knock. And of course, it's Hannibal. The threads of himself come utterly undone, and Hannibal, with sweet words and intimate violence, comes prepared with a needle and thread to stitch him back together, sort of. He doesn't want Will's silence, rather--he wants Will. Entirely. His mind. His body. His affection. Yes, Hannibal wants Will, and he's willing to take it either by forceful charm or by overt threat.

Fate gave him a boy. A boy he could mold completely. A young man to protect, to love, and to share the beauty that the darkness that inhabited his heart had hidden. This is what Hannibal had always wanted for both of them. He only hopes that the happiness he has found will not be destroyed by the same hands that helped him find it.

Weeks have passed since he left, and Will believes his window to get Jack Crawford to believe him has closed so he has to figure out how to convince people that the man behind bars is innocent and Hannibal is the man they're looking for. “And why would he do that?” Will asks, but it comes out weak, “He’ll either… Sense that it’s a trap and ignore it, or he’ll be disinterested. He tried to kill me Jack, why would he return if he got what he wanted? He has no reason to… To care about me. About that.”
“I know that he will want to be sure. And I know as well as you do that he didn’t intend to kill you that night. Even if he senses a trap, he’ll consider himself too clever to be caught. He will come back for you. To claim you, one way or another.”

OR: After the events of Mizumono (S2E13), Jack goes a little off the rails. In an effort to lure Hannibal back and save Will from himself, he kidnaps Will and fakes his death. His plan works, but not in the way he expects...

Summary
Captor bonding. It's a passive psychological response to a new master. Been an essential survival tool for a million years. You bond with your captor, you survive. You don't, you're breakfast.
Will Graham is a trainee working for the FBI and Jack Crawford's last hope for catching the elusive Chesapeake Ripper. While investigating a potential lead on Jack's behalf, Will meets the Ripper face-to-face. But rather than kill him, the Ripper takes him captive, intending to use him to his own advantage.
But as time goes on, it becomes less clear just who has captured who...
Basically, a re-telling of Hannibal in which Will is Miriam Lass, and instead of (I presume??) keeping his victim in a medically induced coma in an undisclosed location, Hannibal falls hopelessly in love with him.

Warriors have an unpleasant habit of seizing things such as gold, silvers, jewelries and any other valuable things they can get hold of that doesn't necessarily have to be material, one of them, apparently, includes Will.
And Will is the most unfortunate, seized by the most-feared, blood-thirsty, and dangerous leader, Hannibal Lecter. The one who was rumored to have been born and emerged from the deep depths of hell. The Devil.

When Jack Crawford first pulled Will out of the classroom and begged him for help, it had been on the tip of Will’s tongue to tell him exactly where he could stick it. He’d been through this before, had his mind hauled over broken glass time and time again by Jack Crawford for the sake of saving lives. Then Jack had mentioned the Ripper and Will had stopped dead in his tracks. The Chesapeake Ripper wasn’t some run-of-the-mill psycho, he was among the worst Will had seen in his lifetime.
If he could help to stop a man like that - even at the price of his own sanity- then Will would do it.
So, naturally, he’d said yes. What else could he do?
Or- the one where Will Graham manages to catch the Chesapeake Ripper, only to realize that it was the Chesapeake Ripper who meant to catch him the whole time.
