When he sits back down at the head of the table, he kisses Gregory on the cheek. “Do you want to make a wish too?”
Gregory gurgles, entranced by the flames of the eighteen candles, tears still drying on his reddened cheeks. Gregory rarely cries—a trait that does not run in the family, something the older four make a point to remind Eloise and Francesca—but when he does, he seems to pick the worst moments.
Anthony wraps one hand around Gregory’s tiny fists as a safety precaution, and he reaches across the table, tugging the cake closer to them. He mimes it once before he starts blowing out the candles. Gregory copies him with a joyous coo.
And, mid-laugh after Gregory manages to take out precisely one of the candles, Anthony realizes he does need to make a wish, and he has nothing he wants to wish for. So, he wishes for more of the same.

Alya Cesaire was, by all accounts, a good person. She rarely littered, she had volunteered at least twice in her life, and she had spent nearly 100 hours listening to her best friend pine over her crush, without a single complaint (or at least with minimal complaints). And then of course, there was the fact that she happened to be a superhero. And not just any hero. She was Rena Rouge, the fantastic, incredible, and only superhero Paris needed. And as she had explained to Marinette countless times, it was perfectly normal for good people to have hypothetical hit lists. The key word being hypothetical. Alya would never actually kill someone. Of course not. And after all, there was only one name on her totally-not-serious hit list. The ignorant, boring, all over annoying Carapace.

Rena Rouge hates Carapace, Carapace hates Rena Rouge, and that's the gospel truth. Alya doesn't care. Not at all. No, she's much more interested in the new kid in their class. Nino Lahiffe is cute, smart, and makes her feel like less of a third wheel around Adrien and Marinette. But he's hiding something, and Alya is determined to figure it out. And if she gets closer to her not-crush in the process, she's certainly not complaining.

Marinette and Ladybug are one and the same. No matter what happens, she is always helping people, regardless of the form she takes. However, with time and kindness comes expectation, and it can be easy to miss just how much good she does or overlook what she's accomplished, especially with the current conflict regarding Lila. But no matter what happens, people can take solace in the fact that she'll still be there.
At least until there's a battle against an akuma with the power to erase people and Ladybug is hit.
Fortunately, Ladybug remains standing tall and ever present.
But the "Everyday Ladybug" isn't.
