Once upon an unforetold time, the yarning began.
Each thread met others, intertwining with each other. Oftentimes, they were made to twist and get stretched thin. Even so, all these still led them to be woven into a tapestry. One so profound, lovely that it became the only one of its kind. And it would've remained as such had a simple jinxed shard not undone its knots abruptly.
But, as time marched on. As seasons changed. As the world continued to spin.
The yearning persisted.
The yearning to connect. To know one another anew. To be threaded together once more.
And if there's one thing these hardened strings knew, it's to make sure all that comes true.

After the so-called “school year of Overblots”, Lilia and Yuu thought there's nothing else that would stand in their way. Because what else was left to achieve besides Happily Ever After? It turns out a single simple lapse of judgment would be the start of a longer nightmare.
But, as the old folks would say, there's light at the end of every dark tunnel.
Should they will it to be, they might even find their string of fate to be sturdier than before. Enough to carry a new reason to love one another.

Sebek scoffs. “Of course Silver falls sick,” he grumbles, shaking his head. “He simply isn’t strong enough to withstand most illnesses, like most humans.”
“That’s not it!” Kalim blurts out, before he clamps his hands over his mouth, eyes wide. In that instant, the three of them still, eyes fixated on the boy as he sags, his arms dropping to the side. He sighs. “Man… I was hoping I wouldn’t freak out like that, but—”
“Out with it.” Malleus’ voice is curt.
“Right, right.” Kalim exhales, crossing his arms. “Silver fell asleep during Professor Trein’s class today. Except…” He bites his lips. “He… didn’t wake up.”
And Lilia’s blood runs cold.
When Silver falls under an ancient sleep curse, unable to awaken, Lilia resolves to wake him up, no matter the cost.

There’s a movement out of the corner of his eyes, before a sudden sharp pinch pulls him back to reality with a yelp. Glancing back, Silver watches his father pull his hand away from where he had been pinching his cheek, crouching with his elbows pressed against his knees. He looks thoroughly amused. “Why the long face, my dear?”
Hugging himself, Silver shrinks back. “‘M scared…” he mumbles. “I don’t wanna go with the moon.”
“Well you won’t!” Father tells him, reaching out to pat him affectionately on the head, ruffling his hair. “It’s merely a fable, after all. As long as you take care to stay out of danger whenever you sleep, you shall be fine.
“I promise you that.”
When Silver was young, Lilia told him a fable about the full moon. Do not fall asleep in her light, lest she sweeps you away in her embrace.
For years, Silver has dutifully avoided doing just that — drawing the curtains every evening, taking care to block out the moonlight — the childhood tale lingering with him.
Until one night, he messes up.
(And slowly, surely, everything begins to go horribly wrong.)

I wish we could've seen more of the companion's reactions after the fight with Zenos, where, you know, we almost DIED. I've also had a couple ideas i've wanted to write so here we go.
FYI there's no romance involved with any of the characters aside maybe Haurchefant.

The plan seemed sensible at the time. Aymeric and Namikka had become fast friends, and there was only one open spot on the train. As much as Eyn’ara adored seeing new lands at Aymeric’s side, she wanted to give him the experience of seeing something new for himself for once. And their journey through Xak Tural had been so leisurely, even by the standards they’d set since arriving in Tuliyollal, that Eyn’ara thought nothing of staying behind and sending her husband into the unknown. She smiled and kissed him as she would if he was leaving for work, secure in the knowledge she’d see him again soon.
“I’ll be right behind you.”
Those words would come to haunt her over the next several hours.
