“He’s hungry,” Vader finally voices his thoughts after the lengthy period of silence when he was simply content to watch Obi-Wan handle Luke.
Obi-Wan can’t help but stare as Vader takes off his helmet, revealing unmarred skin save for the scar, the same handsome cut of his jaw, and unruly hair. It hurts to see harsh yellow eyes staring back at him instead of the soft blues he is used to.
He averts his gaze. He almost wishes Vader would put his helmet back on; it is easier not to think of him as Anakin that way.
“Feed him,” Vader says, pulling Obi-Wan's attention back to him.

Summary

After a violent encounter and a bad wormhole jump, they crash land on a habitable planet and discover their entire ship is suffering from amnesia. Nobody remembers anything from their past. The ship's records are badly scrambled. The planet is too far for anyone to reach safely. Luckily for Jim, no one knows that he’s the author. Unluckily for Jim, someone forwarded the novel to the staff of the Vulcan embassy. Now, every Vulcan in San Francisco is reassessing the logical merits of taking Human bondmates.
Spock reads a Human/Vulcan romance novel because he can hardly avoid it. Suddenly, he is consumed by the need to locate the author, ascertain their wellbeing, and instruct them in the way of Vulcan mating bonds. Luckily for Spock, it doesn't take long to identify the author as Jim Kirk. Unluckily for Spock, Jim is unconscious and surrounded by interested Vulcans who also read the book.
