    Summary

This is a project to create a conlang that will expand upon and deepen the Elvhen language that was created for the Bioware game series, Dragon Age. Elvhen, as it is used in the games, is a cipher, not a language. My goal is to create a complete conlang, or at least a simulated conlang, that other fans can use. The goal is to create a constructed language that is to Dragon Age what Sindarin and Quenya are to Lord of the Rings.

I do want to stress that this is a constructed language based upon the limited Elvhen we had encountered within the games. I am not using magical linguistic ninjitsu to "Figure out," the Elvhen language. In terms of the "official," language, consider this linguistic fan-fiction.

This specific work is a collection of my ongoing progress Posts, which you can find on my tumblr (Link below in the notes).

    Summary

History is often colored by those that tell the tale. Ask about Dellis Trevelyan, Hero of Thedas and Conqueror of the Breach, and they'll tell you a tale of a noble from Ostwick who saved the world. The truth is somewhat less romantic. Dellis Trevelyan was a thief. A rogue. A charlatan. He had no idea how he came to be in the Frostback mountains or why he was at the Conclave. What he did know was that all of Thedas believed him a killer, murderer of the Divine and destroyer of the Conclave, and the only way he could prove his innocence would be to save the world from the Breach. But how could a thief from the back alleys of Denerim convince the world that he was a hero?

[Chapter 2 UP!] Even if it costs me everything, I must know the truth. For months, I've searched. For months, I've failed. As my life ebbs away, my obsession grows. It's beautiful - the color of a setting sun. It sings to me - promises to show me the reason why I was abandoned. Being led astray has never felt this frightening...and this fulfilling. Help me. Someone. (Abelas/Lavellan)

    Summary

It was the beast inside him, his shame that he couldn't control that festered and grew with each injustice that passed before his eyes. She was given to him to try and appease it. But not even her love could have stopped the fall of their empire.

Originally a kinkmeme prompt! Sort of AU Solas/Lavellan where Lavellan is a slave in the days of Arlathan who is given to Fen'Harel.

(I have tagged non-con for this story as it is implied, but it will not be explicit. Also, in light of a recent shit-storm that erupted on tumblr, I would like it to be known that the implied non-con in this story does NOT involve Fen'Harel/Solas with Lavellan and I have tried to address it as respectfully as I can.)

Chapters 1- 16 are set during Arlathan
Chapters 17 to 39 are set during Inquisition
The Arlathan part of the story can be read by itself if you aren't interested in the Inquisition part.

Story is 'complete' as of the end of Inquisition. However a sequel may be done when more content is released by Bioware!
