    When Zane had called him selfish at the lodge, he had felt hurt and saddened, not because he had hated his brother, no, he felt hurt because he realised it was true.

    He was selfish.

    Some days he forgot, some days he pushes his brother’s boundaries, but after what happened at Starlight? After hurting his brother? Hurting KC?

    He realised, his selfishness was at fault, and he tries to handle it himself.

    Or:
    Garroth tries not to lean on anyone for support knowing they suffered more than him. Unfortunately, he has a brother who cares and stays by his side even if he was the reason he got hurt.

    ”It wasn’t me. Vylad did that.” Keep them on their toes, always. Never let someone else find their footing in a conversation. It’s second nature now to always keep the verbal high ground. “I was busy with Father’s anger to deal with Mother’s weepiness.”

    Garroth, Aphmau, and Kawaii~Chan are captured by O’khasis, and the High Priest Zane comes to see them. He has a few words for his brother, and a few opinions on some things that happened in the past.
