Summary
A Cakeverse AU, where forks are called Mordevores and cakes are called Dulcefors. A small part of the population are born as Mordevores, carnivorous, bloodthirsty beings that can’t taste anything but the biological material of a Dulcefor. Dulcefors are rare and unique solely for tasting like a specific flavor of dessert to a Mordevore. They are the designated prey of the Mordevores, and none are born aware of this fact. Mordevores are their sweet-toothed predators, and Dulcefors are their sweet-tasting prey.
Garroth Ro’meave is the newest heir of a Mordevore family, a secret he must keep to his grave. He’s also in love with his best friend, Laurance. But there’s just one problem. His lust for Laurance’s body mingles far too closely with his carnivorous bloodlust for devouring Laurance’s flesh. Every sugar-sweet, delicious taste he gets of him, he inches closer and closer to biting off far more than he can chew. He doesn’t want to hurt him, he would hate himself if he did. But he just can’t help the hunger in his heart, for each and every piece of him. His body, his lips, his heart… Garroth wants it all.
His second problem is, Laurance is more than willing to give it to him.

Summary

I won’t be following any particular prompt list for this one, and I probably won’t upload every day of the month, I’m just writing whatever pairings come to mind so I can learn how their dynamics work and how they behave as a pairing in a sexual context. Summary
Minecraft Diaries, but I write what’s fun for me, and exclude all the parts that are not fun for me. And I add my own spin on things. These spins-on-things include:
- Zenix, Zane, and Sasha redemption arcs
- Polyamory instead of love dodecahedron drama (the main, final polycule will be aphmau/garroth/laurance/zoey/aaron, and it’ll be a very gay one)
- Laurance becoming a Shadow Knight later on through the events of Void Paradox instead of during season one (meaning Void Paradox will be included)
- Both everything regarding The Nether/The Shadow Lord/Knights and the divine/Irene is much more lovecraftian, inhuman, monstrous, and freaky as hell, if I can manage it. Aphmau is as human as a Shadow Knight, and battling against a similar fate.
- I’m adding in Zane’s favoritest and most darling henchman, Janus the Silver Death <3
- There is smut in this fic, but it’s not the focus of the workI love this series very much, and I wanted to do it justice in my own way. I love reliving and reimagining these characters dearly, and I hope you love re-experiencing them too! <3

Note, you do not need to have watched My Inner Demons in order to read this, since I’ll be starting from the top and pretty much doing everything my way from scratch (including all the worldbuilding), however it would probably be preferred if you had some sort of familiarity with or knowledge about Minecraft Diaries and its lore about The Divine Warriors before proceeding, since I’m going to be utilizing the Irene & Divine Warriors reincarnation cycle lore here.

It basically means I’m following more of the rules and ideas established in my MCD rewrite central point than any of the canon rules.

Summary
Adrien has mastered the art of the smile. Even while his mind is on poor behavior, when he's caught beneath a barrage of unkind thoughts to himself, he's still able to keep his smile. Attend his friends' parties, maintain small talk, get through the day — and hopefully his friends won't realize how messed up he really is.
Everyone is out-pacing him. While he's barely getting out of bed in the morning, his friends are making waves, changing lives, getting engaged.
He can't even get his girlfriend to text him back.
So, sure. Maybe he's not in the best head space right now — but 'suicidal'? Ladybug's certainly just reading too deeply into things. But if her concern for Chat Noir's mental state is enough to get her reaching out, well, he won't turn down the opportunity to chat with a friend. Besides, Ladybug seems to be having a rough go of it, too. Maybe they can help each other out.

The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.

“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

However Zoey’s interest was piqued, part of her wondering why she had never even considered the fact he would have skills like that, “You know how to dance? Ballroom dance I’m assuming?”
“If I remember any of it, yes,” Garroth doubted he did, at least doubted he remembered anything beyond simple steps.
“...Will you dance with me?” Zoey stopped in the middle of the flat part of the path, suddenly overcome with a need to see this man dance like a noble.
