Summary
Minecraft Diaries, but I write what’s fun for me, and exclude all the parts that are not fun for me. And I add my own spin on things. These spins-on-things include:
- Zenix, Zane, and Sasha redemption arcs
- Polyamory instead of love dodecahedron drama (the main, final polycule will be aphmau/garroth/laurance/zoey/aaron, and it’ll be a very gay one)
- Laurance becoming a Shadow Knight later on through the events of Void Paradox instead of during season one (meaning Void Paradox will be included)
- Both everything regarding The Nether/The Shadow Lord/Knights and the divine/Irene is much more lovecraftian, inhuman, monstrous, and freaky as hell, if I can manage it. Aphmau is as human as a Shadow Knight, and battling against a similar fate.
- I’m adding in Zane’s favoritest and most darling henchman, Janus the Silver Death <3
- There is smut in this fic, but it’s not the focus of the workI love this series very much, and I wanted to do it justice in my own way. I love reliving and reimagining these characters dearly, and I hope you love re-experiencing them too! <3

Summary
This work is an Alternate Universe where Garroth decided to go with Zane to O'Khasis, but Nicole still fakes her death and stuff goes wrong. After a few years Zenix seals away Aphmau, Katelyn, Emmalyn, and a random Shadow Knight (Vylad) that was ordered to steal the relic to grow Shad's power.
While our protagonist is sealed away and after a year or so of searching, Zenix manages to bring the Shadow Lord out on his own, by stealing Shad's Heart and bringing it back to the Nether with him; Letting Shad manifest his own body.
Once the Shadow Lord is out, a Shadow take-over takes place. Over the course of multiple years a shadow knight is assigned to each Lord to rule with them and eventually take their place. As Gene is looking over the Lords, Laurance and Sasha overhear that Garroth is now the Lord of O'Khasis. Laurance, in an attempt to save Garroth and stop the take over, offers to go to O'Khasis. Gene laughs in his face and tells him to become more than a premature shadow knight. He does so, and is corrupted. He takes his assignment to watch over O'Khasis and starts manipulating Garroth and O'Khasis as a whole. Zane is having none of this, seeing as his temples are being destroyed and actually decides to help.Series

Laurence Zvhal is a guard of Phoenix Drop and will do anything for the woman he loves which is Aphmau however after getting out of the Irene dimension things changed as his shadow knight urges become harder to resist especially due to the Calling. After finding out about Aphmau’s pregnancy and finding out whose the father Laurence had enough as after his encounter and conversation with Vincent about the Nether, Laurence encounters a strange man named Hoshi who talks to Laurence about different dimensions as Laurence is confused as Hoshi shares about his own multiverse theory and questions Laurence asking what would Laurence do if he was in a different universe were things were different, the people he knew where different and the way of life Laurence had seen has reality was different as Hoshi explains the universe is different in many ways. Laurence does not take this lightly as soon after Laurence finds himself once again in a different dimension and different timeline as well as it is Meiji era Japan but he is still in Phoenix Drop but things are very different as Laurence navigates through this different era and dimension with the same but different people he must come face to face with mistakes he made.

She meets many people along the way and soon comes across a friend from a past she tried to move on from as he has dark movations however Aphmau refuses to become a pawn but that goal soon becomes challenging as she is faced with lies and doubts. Laurence Zvhal is a guard of Metli who’s sister Cadenza is the lord and has a younger brother named Caleb. He’s your typical Japanese Casanova until he meets Aphmau and goes back with her to the village of Phoenix Drop as he falls in love for the first time as he faces love rivals and make sure his rival also childhood friend Balto is not being too harsh on Aphmau. However soon Laurence’s past starts to come back as he keeps many secrets and does not want to lie but has to protect those he cares about. As the journey begins and Phoenix Drop rises alliances are formed, loyalties are questioned and secrets are revealed.

Maybe one day when i actually understand the plot of this dumbass show i will put some effort into a rewrite, but for now im just incredibly bored while waiting for my roast to finish cooking, and theres not a lot of zane mcd stuff for queers. I imagined i would have been doing something much cooler at this age when i was younger.
