Summary
An alternate take on canon to give Edelgard the story she deserved and the house leaders the friendship they should've had with a heavy, HEAVY emphasis on Yurileth. It starts with Azure Moon, but adds in Verdant Wind's and Silver Snow's unique chapters while also yoinking lore from Crimson Flower and a dash of Cindered Shadows before mixing on high for sixty years.
There's a tiny bit of Three Hopes, but only really adding Shez, Arval, Epimenides, Holst, and (actual) Monica to the main plot of Three Houses.
Hopefully that'll draw your attention enough to give it a try? Idk. More notes in the fic because I only get like, 1k for a summary.
EDIT: I also just noticed that I tagged this thing with 'starts Azure Gleam' instead of 'Azure Moon,' but editing tags is a hassle. I promise I mean Azure Moon, lol.

An embarrassed heat creeps up his neck. Again, he imagines telling Will about El. The voice in the back of his head laughs derisively.
Then, for reasons he cannot elucidate to even himself, he shoves Will in the chest.
“Um,” says Mike. His throat suddenly grows dry. He glances down at his empty glass.
“Right.” Will moves away from the sink, clearing the way for him. “No—no worries, of course. Good night, Mike.”
When he trudges upstairs, he thinks about how he spends most of his time waiting these days. He hopes the old adage about time healing wounds turns out to be true. If not, he’s just wasting it all resentfully gritting his teeth and bearing the pain for nothing.
