Summary
Stan and Kyle had never really talked about it. About Kenny's death. At least, not maturely. By the time either had really grown up enough to be able to do that, they weren't really best friends anymore.
The grief suddenly hits Kyle hard, especially next to one of the people that had always been there when Kenny was. Kyle doesn't understand how the grief is even possibly hitting him this hard this fast, but it nearly feels exactly the same it did the moment Kyle's mom had woken him up gently to tell him that Kenny had passed away.
It's been years — fuck, it's been almost a decade — but looking at Kenny’s pixelated face brings it all rushing back. The hospital waiting room with its buzzing fluorescent lights. His mom's hand on his shoulder. The way Stan just... disappeared.
Kyle had forgotten. Or maybe he'd just buried it so deep he could pretend he'd forgotten. But here it is, preserved in 480p resolution, and Kyle feels thirteen again, confused and angry and desperately sad all at once.

I would call this cozy hurt/comfort, as contradictory as that sounds. The character writing is so good, the story could contain nothing happening and I'd still be along for the ride. The fact that stuff does happen and that stuff is excellent just makes it even better.

Summary
Dr. W. D. Gaster is the royal scientist, working directly under King Asgore. After the monsters are sealed underground he is presented with new challenges. Food, water, power, all of these things are a far cry from the endless war machines he had designed on the surface. However, Gaster is eager to get back to the surface, to see the stars again. Despite the King's disapproval, the good doctor decides to take matters into his own hands...
Chapters are long and formatting might be weird, but I'm trying to make it readable. This story starts from the very beginning of the monsters being sealed to beyond the true pacifist ending. It explores the idea of a rather rash, asshole scientist creating Sans and Papyrus via cloning and explores their lives together as a rather dysfunctional family from start to finish.

My Undertale-fan era was, relatively speaking, a flash in the pan. Yet somehow in that short time, and despite my only experiences with fanfiction at that time being infamous funny-bad stuff like Metroid High and My Immortal, I ended up reading this, liking it, and then just moving on. I never read any other fanfic until years later, yet this story stuck in my head. Little scenes, whole arcs, a lot of the worldbuilding from the quasi-sequel MAYEM and its spin-off stories, they'd all play in my head at random and I'd remember it fondly. With a few years of fic-reading under my belt I came back to re-visit expecting the worst but holy moly it was even better than I remembered. I would genuinely place it amongst my favourite fics ever and I don't even care all that much about Undertale anymore, that's how good it is. How in the hell did teenage me read this and not get hooked on fanfiction??? How did he not have to take, like, a week to process it???

Might not be 4000% consistent with each other, but generally set in the same world! Playing fast and loose with my own fanon of an already kind of vague and inconsistent canon. It's freeform jazz, baby.

How did I end up reading this? I have no earthly idea, but I'm so, so glad I did. It's genuinely incredible how much endearing character the author manages to draw out of a player-insert and a guy whose primary character trait is "dickhead" from an RPG made for children and still have it still feel faithful to the source material. It's like one of those memes about how silly fanfiction can sound to outsiders, except it doesn't feel silly at all when you're reading it, you just get pulled in by the incredible writing and invested in these two loveable dorks.

Summary
If Kyle kept on putting one foot in front of the other, he would be able to live his life by a strict plan. Go to college, get a degree, start a career, marry a nice girl, get a house, and start a family. But then he screwed up. And once you lose your footing, it’s hard to find balance again.

I don't think this is ever getting "officially" finished, but I don't really care. The 3 chapters that are here are already incredible (and it doesn't end on some cliffhanger bullshit) and stronger than so many "finished" fics. The scenario this fic presents is so much fun to explore. I often end up thinking about the world set up before and after the events of the story

Summary
Super Craig and Wonder Tweek, the dynamic duo that socked and shocked respectively, were some of the last of the original Freedom Pals to retire, and, to Super Craig’s slight smugness, the last of the original brutalists to do so.
However, the extra time in the field had taken its toll.
Now, in their late fifties and roughly a decade out of the superhero game, the once mighty Super Craig had been reduced to… this: An older, weakened man laying in his bed, desperately trying to breathe through the pain so as not to rouse his sleeping husband next to him.
OR
Craig deals with chronic pain after retirement. If only he had a healer who could help him....

Such a cute idea, and the execution pulls it off :)
