    A year after the war, Bakugou Katsuki finally begins his third year in the Hero Course at UA. Every now and then, randomly, he gets a feeling in his chest like his heart is about to give up on him. It does tend to come up whenever he sees Midoriya Izuku. Or thinks about him. Or if anyone says his name, but he still can't seem to stop thinking about him, even if there's a chance it could help. After all, it must be guilt, right? Either that or his heart is failing.
    Izuku is just confused. He can't tell what Katsuki is thinking, it seems like he never can these days. Or like he never could in the first place. Beginning his third year in the Support Course, having transferred after the war for his second year, Izuku can't help but feel like his life is fragmented. Pieces of him seem to be strewn about: some left in the 3-A dorms where he occasionally visits, some across his desk in the support shop. Some still out in the field as he spends most nights out on unsanctioned patrols. He's exhausted and he's losing hope, something he was supposed to always have. Since when was it this hard to smile?

    Remainder of high school and the eight years after. BKDK is endgame, I just used to ship KiriBaku and Izuocha
