“No.” Theo says matter of factly, rushing the small distance between them until his nose lightly rubs against his pulse. Both of his hands encase Stiles’ head to the door and his lungs ache with the need to take a proper breath. He’s panting, can’t even pretend to deny it. “You deserve to be with someone who wants to touch you. Someone thrilled to have you wrapped around their arm.”
“Let me guess,” Stiles breathes out, “that someone is you?” Sounding much more affected than he’d like to. But he can’t help it. Not with the wolf so close it nearly hurts that they’re not touching. Who’s he kidding? The lack of contact is slowly killing him inside. Stiles wishes he didn’t feel like this, but his body’s been a traitorous asshole since puberty. Why would that change now?

The human interrupted her with a loud "wait," almost a shout. Mo'at stared at him, surprised. The avatar's stretched cheeks turned slightly red. He raised both hands in surrender.
"I'm sorry..." He cleared his throat. "I would like to ask someone else to teach me."
Neytiri tilted her head to one side. Tsu'Tey frowned. What was that idiot doing?
"Ah." Mo'at sighed. The tsahìk stared at the dreamwalker with interest. "Tell me, demon warrior: who do you want if not my daughter?"
Jake remained silent. His long tail whipped back and forth, and his eyes sneakily met Tsu'Tey's; Tsu'Tey gasped and dug his nails into the carved curves of the bow. Jake smirked and pointed at him.
"I want him.”

Summary
Jake lost a piece of himself when he was told he'd never be able to walk again, an unfortunate hazard of the job. But when he was laying there in the hospital, he would dream of the stories his brother told him about Pandora. He'd have these recurring dreams of flying, feeling free. He wanted to feel that freedom again, and the Avatar Program could provide that.
It's why when he arrived on the indigenous moon he wasn't looking to be some counterspy for Colonel Miles Quaritch, and he certainly wasn't looking for a permanent place among the Na'vi. Jake only wanted to be free. He just never expected his training with the Omaticaya hunter Tsu'tey to alter the course of what he desired.
