Summary
During WW2, Bucky Barnes is captured by HYDRA, tested on, experimented on, slated to die. All seems lost, until he's rescued by the last person he'd ever expect - the runty little bundle of sunshine he left back in Brooklyn. Steve Rogers.
Except something seems... off. It seems that in this universe, Steve didn't receive the Super Soldier Serum. Instead, he got something far more intense.
Steve has a Symbiote. And Venom is hungry.

Dear Bucky,
If you're reading this, then it means that this was a success. That my shot in the dark was worth it. If you're reading this, then maybe, just maybe, some of the damage that they did to you was reversed. Maybe all this hard work was worth it in the end.
I don't know if you'll ever come back to me. I don't know if you'll ever be my Bucky again. But I can hope. And I can try.

Summary
The head of President Washington’s personal security, Ben Tallmadge, got shot in the line of duty. He survived the shot but has to survive the post-surgery recovery. Stitches are awful, pain management is worse, but the worrying he has to endure might be the biggest obstacle he has to face. Even more, it’s the thought of not having a job to return to once he’s back on his feet that’s making him truly miserable.
It’s only been a handful of days but Ben is utterly over it already.
