Opening his eyes after what felt like another millenia-long slumber, Sukuna couldn't help but try and blink away the brightness; such stark white surrounded him in every single direction. Swivelling around on his feet, the man tried to assess the environment and gain bearings of some sort, but there was simply nothing. Around again and again, looking every which way, his annoyance in the unknown and frustration started to build as he tried to take stock.
Turning once more, his gaze caught sight of a being standing in the distance. Without hesitation, Sukuna stepped towards it, one foot and then the next, until he was running. With anger brimming under his skin and directed at the person for his lack of answers and understanding as to why he was here in this place, it soon turned to some semblance of relief as he drew closer. He noted the familiar blush shade of pink hair and form, standing with shoulders slightly hunched away from him.
He slowed his steps by the time he was only a few metres from the other, drawing his mouth into a smirk as the words left his mouth, “Brat…”
In the aftermath of their climactic battle, Sukuna and Itadori Yuuji meet in a liminal space.
