Summary
Clarke Griffin's boyfriend had been killed in, arguably, self-defense.
Now, with the trial about to start and her name on the witnesses' list, she finds herself torn between doing what is right, but will cost her everything, and a guilt that threatens to fill the void that has been left in her heart.
How very fucked up is everything. How very fucked up is it that the killer's lawyer, of all people, is slowly taking over it instead.Or the one in which Finn starts developing a serious mental health issue in his early 20s. It goes unnoticed for long enough to take over his life and, in a paranoid delusion, he attacks Lincoln, who accidentally kills him.
Clarke puts the pieces together and knows she has to testify against her own late boyfriend and his loved ones, despite the fact she is still grieving him herself.
It really does not help that Lincoln's foster sister and lawyer, Lexa, seems to be the only one to even remotely understand any of it while simultaneously standing in her way, making everything all the more complicated. -

Hermione has looked into the eyes of a Basilisk and she is sure she was supposed to end up dead and not on the late 18th Century, being cared for by the Delacour family. It's lucky life doesn't always go like it is supposed to.
Or, the one with time-traveling Hermione getting adopted into the Delacour family, growing up in that environment while Fleur decides she definitely does not have a new sister, but perhaps she could be persuaded into having something else.

Summary
H. has no body. They take over someone else for 24 hours and then they are gone. They don't get to choose who they will wake up as, but they do know that:
1. It is always someone around their age, no more than 3 years older or younger.
2. It is always someone near their last body.
3. The change happens at 00:00.
4. They never get to be the same person twice.They cannot leave any trace of their presence without majorly disrupting that person's life without consent.
But then they wake up in the body of Fleur Delacour. And then in the body of her boyfriend. From that moment on, everything, every day, it all keeps leading back to her.
Many people don't believe in fate, but then again, no one would believe someone like H. could exist either. Perhaps there is something to destiny, after all.
