Left off chapter 7
"Jax" picked the name Joy, most of her dysphoria stuff is well done, but I'm really unsure about her responses to Ragatha doing probably the worst possible thing as her first interaction with her (hit, yell angrily, then hug), and Joy not having much of a negative response to that.Maybe later on it gets better, though.

Summary
Coming back from abstraction is one thing, but living afterwards is another thing entirely. Jax has found her will to live and that does not mean she's magically fixed. She gets a chance, but her issues are still there, waiting to beat her to death all over again.
She needs to learn to trust, both herself and others, if she is going to stay alive this time.
This is a Trust Ceremony.

Months after the events of Episode 9, Caine and Kinger's theories about a possible method of de-abstraction suddenly and unexpectedly bear fruit. But with so much still left unsaid, and the effects of abstraction still lingering, what will Jax's future look like? And what will his return mean for the circus as a whole?

Want to specifically mention the egg stuff, since it's good, chapter 9, gayass feelings for Pomni, chapter 10, pomni comments on Jax "lezzing out", and everything Jax described as stuff Ragatha would be feeling also applies to herself.
Also note that the phobia is of vomit. Stop googling it every time I see the word, I should remember by now.

After the gang works with Caine to make the circus a better, fairer place, they return to the possibility of de-abstracting the ones they lost along the way.

Months after giving up all hope on them, Pomni enters the pillow fort to find... Jax.
But not the one she remembers. A new one. One with softer eyes, happier features and a big red bow on one ear.
Jax has to figure out what the fuck to do. Because they are a girl now. And weirdly okay about it.
Also: Jax has her egg cracked by God and has to find a way to cope after being abstracted for months.
