Summary
Nesta Archeron disappeared three months to the day after the end of the war against Hybern.
Without so much as a whisper, she slipped away into the night, leaving it all behind.
The Night Court. Her sisters. Him.
There were no answers, no justification, no anything.
As quickly as she appeared into his life, she vanished, as if she were never there. The few things she owned were left abandoned, locked away in an attic, to be forgotten like so many other relics of their lost ones.
Three years later and the wound still burned as if she’d stabbed him directly in the chest.
---
When Nesta disappears at the end of the war, everyone believes she simply left on her own free will, without a care for anyone, least of all him.But when the hunt for the Dread Trove begins and Cassian is tasked with bringing her back home - at any cost - he learns that not everything is as it seems.

Nesta's reaction after hearing about the vote in ACOSF gone a little differently. Basically we are skipping the anger and go straight into the depression, because that is what our girl is throughout the entire book. Lots of angst with a hopeful ending, I guess?

Summary
I was brought out of fic retirement by this message
"(tw for rape and pregnancy) idk if the timeline of acotar even works for this idea but imagine if nesta didn't get away from Tomas and when feyre and the ic come to nesta and Elain, Nesta's pregnant and showing. She refused to marry Tomas or anyone even if it would save her reputation. I'm just thinking of how it would change the mood of the ic meeting her for the first time. and also obvs change canon afterwards in some form. "
I diverged slightly and Nesta will be a mother in the first meeting with the IC.

Summary
“Hey,” he said swallowing through his upset at the realization. “Sweetheart, what’s—”
“I can’t get them off!”
Cassian blinked, shutting the door behind him and taking step forward.
“The leathers?”
He watched as she reached for the buckles again.
“Are you happy?!” She snarled. “I wear these fucking egregious things every day, despite the fact that I can’t breathe, and now after sitting in the rain, it’s too wet, my fingers are too sore, and my hair is – and… and, well, I can’t get them the fuck off!”
---
In which, after Cassian pulls a dick move and Nesta reveals her reservations to training go far beyond simply not wanting to, the pair of them try and figure out what it means to love each other not as wolves, but as people.

Summary
England - May, 1944
“Your husband doesn't write you.”
Nesta didn't look up from where she was primly folding one of his men's uniforms.
“Well, Captain, he is fighting a war.”
Cassian frowned, knowing full well the men in his Company wrote every chance they could, anxious to hear from their wives, to be reminded what it was all for. Her words were an excuse. A deflection from a lovelessness that cracked his heart in two.
“I don't suppose you would let me?” He asked.
"Let you what?"
“Write you, sweetheart.”
--
While training for the Allies' invasion Europe, Captain Cassian Garcia of the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment meets the mysterious Nesta Mandray and finds a light in the darkness. Beautiful, if not burdened by some deep sadness, he finds he cannot stay away, even with the ring around her finger.
When Nesta Mandray meets the bold, yet inexplicably handsome American Officer lodging next door, her dream of escape from a loveless marriage becomes increasingly hard to ignore. But a life scarred makes for a woman cautious, and it will take more than brief conversations over clean linens to convince her to take a leap of faith.

Summary
I'm taking key scenes from ACOSF and rewriting them the way they *could* have gone if characters communicated honestly or had a bit more emotional intelligence. Each one shot is self contained and I'm adding them as I write them, so they're not in any particular chronological order.
Ch. 1 - Cassian doesn't like the plan to "intervene" with Nesta
Ch. 2 - Nesta actually reads p. 236
Ch. 3 - Feyre finds out her friends lied to her
Ch. 4 and 5 - Nesta refuses to go hiking
Ch. 6 - Feyre's Perspective (ACOSF, Chapter 47)
CH. 7 - Cass and Mor discuss her "suggestion" for Nesta to go to the Court of Nightmares (ACOSF, Ch. 4)
Ch. 8 - Nesta falls down the stairs (ACOSF, Ch. 10-11)
Ch. 9 - Aftermath of Ch. 8 - Madja meets with the Inner Circle
Ch. 10 - Only A Male's Shirt - ACOSF, Ch. 1
Ch. 11 - Hiking
Ch. 12 - Hiking Part 2 - Cass, Az, and Rhys in the mountains
Ch. 13 - The Dance - Mor prepares Nesta for the Hewn City ballNote: All of my stories hold the Inner Circle accountable for their role in situations. If you don't like that, don't read my fics. If you don't like Nesta, move along. Thanks!

Summary
Nesta Archeron has spend the last 6 months suppressing her power, her memories, and anything she and that Illyrian brute shared. Now, because of Feyre and her intervention, she is forced to travel with Cassian to the Illyrian Mountians to... to what? Get sober? Gain weight? Dig up what she has worked so hard to bury? No. Nesta would never let that happen. Let them cart her off with that bastard to the end of the world. He had stopped fighting for her the night of Solstice. She would never be a part of their perfect circle. She didn't want to be. Cassian would see that, and their little trip would end.

Cassian has a chip on his shoulder in an industry where name, money, and education is everything. And restoring the reputation and the financial security of VMH is personal to him. Complicating matters is Nesta Archeron, the fiery PR director working side by side with him to ensure the Starfall Ball is a massive success. Difficulty maintaining their professional lines is fueled by both hate and attraction. But as layers peel back, they learn that they have more in common than they thought.
