She never predicted that her daughter would be looked after by anyone other than a human from Earth though. Jaime's life had turned out differently than how he originally thought it would go. His dreams of being a gallant Knight were dashed at the reality of being a Kingsguard under King Aerys II and his cruel pleasures. The only ray of sunshine was watching young Rhaenys imagining flying with dragons as she played with her pet cat Balerion and silently joining in with her in his head. She always insisted the cat was a dragon and playfully pouted whenever someone tried telling her otherwise. The cat seemed fiercely loyal to her but only ever stayed with her when others weren't close enough to make out details.

Harry follows after Sirius as he falls into the Veil of Death. The Veil was used for executing prisoners and no one had ever come back before, but what no one realized was that perhaps they couldn't come back and were still alive on the other side.
Harry survives the travel but in the process is stranded alone on an alien world with no idea how to get back.

She accepted that she had to go back to the Dursley's every summer, she accepted that Dumbledore knew best when he stopped her friends from writing to her, she accepted that the ministry was printing lies and refusing the truth, she accepted that some people didn't want to accepted that Voldemort was back, she accepted that Cedric was died and it was her fault for not being quicker that night, she accepted that year after year she would face life-threatening dangers.
Callisia had long since accepted the hand she had been dealt, accepted that there was nothing she could do about it. But when Sirius fell in the Department of Mysteries, Callisia couldn't accept it, she refused to accept it. She had already lost her parents, she wouldn't lose her godfather too.
So when Sirius fell, Callisia jumped after him. She followed him through the veil and ended up in a strange place, with stranger people who spoke an even stranger language.
