Summary

Mi-an comes from a family of builders. All her life she was expected to get her license (which she did) and then join the family workshop, marry another builder, and raise a new generation of builders. She...has some issues with those last three. So when she saw the advertisement looking for builders in Sandrock, well, she jumped at the chance to see what life outside her family was like.
At first, it wasn't all that different. I mean, you get up, take commissions, make the stuff, hand it in, go to bed, repeat. That's the life of a builder, right? Her boss is...something else, but she can deal with that. He's not as bad as her mother, after all.
Owen has his saloon, his friends, and his cat. He's cool, calm, and everything is fine, right? Well, maybe he works a little too much.
But then his kitchen exploded, and everything changed, for both of them.
