"Acting Grand Master," Lawrence says, "we have another noise complaint."
Kaeya leans against the doorway, watching as Lawrence places at report atop Jean's desk. Sighing, Jean tiredly rubs at her brow, before offering a curt nod.
"Thank you," she says. "I will deal with the complaint shortly."
Pushing off the doorway, Kaeya saunters past Lawrence, picking the report up, and casually flipping through it. Jean shoots him a stern look, but does not tell him to put it back down.
"It's from one of the sisters," Kaeya observes, and reads aloud. "Perpetrator scaled statue outside church while drunk and sang loudly for three hours."
Lawrence lets out a delicate cough.
As Weinlesefest draws near, Kaeya notices a new mystery in the city of wind and wine — Jean and Diluc have been oddly permissive with Venti since the Stormterror Incident. Mischievously determined to get to the bottom of this, Kaeya soon makes a discovery that threatens to upend everything he knows. In the process, he must reconcile what it means to be Khaenri'ahn, and to love a city that belongs to a god.

Summary
There’s two things Xingqiu wants to do:
The first is simple, he wants to kiss Chongyun. He’s wanted to since he was twelve and the pair were swimming in a creek near Guili Plains, splashing water under the summer sun and laughing without a care in the world. Xingqiu wants. He wants to know how Chongyun’s lips would feel against his own. Xingqiu knows it’d be perfect, how could it not be? They were made for each other.
As for the second one, it’s more complicated. Kissing Chongyun is palpable, doable. He could lean forward and test his theory out, that Chongyun’s lips would be burning hot and his hands would be steady on Xingqiu’s waist. Xingqiu wants—no, needs—to stay in this moment forever. In the dark of Liyue’s night, tucked away into nature, with Chongyun. Here, right now, he doesn’t have to worry about anything. He can focus on Chongyun, on his ice-blue eyes and the gentle curves of his cheekbones.

“Young Master Xingqiu, if you do not eat, how will you be strong enough to fight a cold?” Another maid calls out. There’d been a virus going around at school. Xingqiu watching more and more kids not come to class as the days passed on. “If you get sick and stay sick, how will you see Chongyun?”
And that makes Xingqiu pause. He wouldn’t mind not going to school for a bit since he could read all he wanted then. But, if he got sick and Chongyun came to see him…Then Chongyun would get sick!
Xingqiu doesn’t want that. Chongyun should always be healthy so Xingqiu can tease, dote, and love him.
He still doesn’t want to eat dinner. But if it’s for Chongyun, it will be okay.
It’s always for Chongyun.
