For some it’s the comfort of a soft blanket that’s been with them since birth, maybe a stuffed toy that has been so thoroughly loved it is coming apart at the seams from enduring so much. For Diluc, childhood was a head of messy blue hair that was always beside him, picking berries under the summer sun and spilling out under a winter hat powdered with snow. He knew that shade of blue better than any color in the world.
Despite his better judgment, he spoke.
