Summary
When the world is crumbling and most are content to turn a blind eye, what use is there for one person to turn the natural tide?
That is how Fane Lavellan views the world. He has turned his back on the world, as it has turned its back on him. However, when the sky begins to close in and he can no longer turn away lest he bash into the walls, he must confront a truth amid a past of lost identity. He will traipse into forgotten territory. He will fight against mind and foe alike. He will learn of a vow seemingly broken by time and madness. He will be forced to raise his head and look to the sky to confront what he had lost due to pride and love. He will be forced to choose between so many as his soul is yanked in two directions--the past and the future.
This is one elf's journey with the Inquisition and all its actors. This..is a legacy of two lifetimes: One of gold and one of emerald. And both are blanketed by cooling blue and muted grey as once indifferent hands bloody themselves with crimson roars once more.
