Maybe it’s just him after all, to live as the last Gentry. Part of him wants to go back to that house, just as a trial to make sure it’s true.
The more reasonable part of him calmly flags down a taxi and climbs in the back. His gaze quickly combs over the driver, dismantling him piece by piece as he examines the remains. The driver is not much younger than Six. Short blond hair, slit dark eyes, a broadly unkind face. He’s muscled but lean. He sits as if there isn’t a gun strapped to his hip or tucked in the back of his jeans beneath his uniform’s canvas jacket.
Not a threat at all, Six decides.

“You’re a bit dense, aren’t you?” Tom pays no mind to the offended squawk he gets in response, nodding to himself like it’s a truth he’s decided on. “That’s okay. A pretty face is more important than brains.”
That seems to finally snap the man out of his nervous stammering. His blue eyes widen for a second, before narrowing, his pretty pink lips twisting into a grimace. Tom has the feeling that he may have said something he shouldn’t have.
“I have a doctorate in molecular biology. Please don’t insult my intelligence, under the pretense of complimenting me.”Or, Tom Ryder meets his fall guy's twin, who just arrived on set after some UNESCO conference and refuses to give Tom his number.

Summary
The door opens.
Claire chokes. Ryland is standing there in blue PJ pants and an oversized PBS t-shirt. He's rubbing his eyes, which are missing his glasses, which makes it even more obvious how similar they look. When his hand falls away, Six watches him process what is standing at his door. His eyes go from Six, down to Claire, then back up to Six.
He laughs, high and stressed, then closes the door in their face.
OR, Six needs help taking care of Claire after they break free from their respective jails. He decides that his younger brother Ryland Grace is the solution.
