Summary
Curly thought he had everything under control, until the conflicts within his crew became personal. As tensions rise, Curly struggles to stay objective, but something has shifted.
When Curly finds out what happened to Anya, something that Curly has long feared finally surfaces. Blindsided by guilt, he realizes that his choice to tolerate Jimmy's bitterness has enabled a threat to her.
Right when Curly's self-doubt reached its peak, disaster striked. A ship malfunction sends them crashing into an asteroid.
After the crash, Curly must confront his mistakes. He can't ignore the damage already done on the Tulpar, to his team and to Anya, who's struggling with her trauma while still tending to the others. He sees himself through her eyes- not a hero, but a flawed man who allowed something terrible to happen because he didn't want to risk conflict. Curly is choosing now between the leader he's been and the leader he needs to be, even if Jimmy becomes the irresponsible captain.

Anya’s dead, Daisuke’s dead, and now Swansea is next– What a way to go, huh?
But maybe it doesn’t have to end like this.
Swansea dies, but he doesn’t stay dead, and when he opens his eyes everyone is alive and well, and Jimmy isn’t actively trying to off them all yet. Swansea has a chance to do things better this time, to learn from his mistakes, and most importantly: Protect Anya and Daisuke.
