A baby dwarf is orphaned when a trading caravan is attacked and adopted by hobbits. During her life she makes important friends and marries a hobbit. Her granddaughter, her little jewel, is pulled in the Quest for Erebor.
This series covers the life of Brynye Took and her granddaughter Freye Took as well as the Company of Thorin Oakenshield. There will be many one-shot short stories throughout the series that tie to specific events or chapters in the story.
