It wasn’t immediate. The first month or so, Logan went to jobsites, did his work, and came home without a second thought. Then one day Wade made some offhand comment about how the shitty bathroom floor tiles absorbed blood like a fucking sponge and it was nearly impossible to scrub out and suddenly he was noticing different types of tiles and grout and piecing together the ideal floor materials for two guys with a healing factor and a penchant for coming home blood soaked.
From then on it was like the floodgates had opened and he couldn’t stop himself from taking mental notes at every job he worked. He wasn’t actually planning on buying something. He was just looking.
For the future.
DISTANT future.
Except…
The TVA had given him a truly disgusting amount of money he wasn’t doing anything with and real estate was a decent investment. He didn’t have to do anything with it if he didn’t want to.
It’s not like he was going to find anything he liked anyway.

General outline:
While Logan begins to navigate his life in the new timeline, he becomes distracted by feelings he can't quite place, and they point back to Wade: the merc with the mouth who offered him a place to stay. Attempting to distract himself from those feelings, Logan steps in to help Wade get back with Vanessa, but Wade isn't sure she's what he wants anymore. Not after meeting him.Warnings:

Logan walks in the front door with an air of everyday nonchalance, carrying a carton of milk in one hand and a full shopping bag in the other, offering Wade a nod as he opens the fridge to put away perishables. Averting his gaze away from a Gossip Girl rerun (despite it being a terrible 5th season episode, Wade’s little friend downstairs is interested), Wade catches a glimpse of something unfamiliar on Logan’s left bicep. The shocking realization of what it is hits Wade harder than an orgasm after a 4-hour-long edging sesh.
Wade’s jaw drops. “You got a tattoo?”
