Summary
The first man is dead, Heaven is in disarray, and out for vengeance. It was time for them to enact their final plan, they had to bring Earth into the conflict to ensure their victory the next time they fought with the demons.
It was the day humanity had many legends about, what some called “The Rapture”, the day the ones considered righteous would rise and become angels, and the ones seen as unworthy would be left to rot and burn among the sinners. Heaven, in their haste, unfortunately never foresaw that opening such a large rift to Earth would cause instability in the world, so not only did a rift above open for the righteous, but also a crack in the Earth shattered open, releasing the sinners into the living world and opening the floodgates of conflict among the Holy and the Damned.

Except that the Wisteria Sharehouse is full of nosy, noisy people who seem to think their child-prodigy housemate who'd really rather be left alone is the most interesting person in the world.
So really, what did he expect them all to do when they found out about his favorite hobby?
(OR: put seven Hashira in a modern-day university sharehouse with a teenage prodigy who just wants to go look for some birds, and you get...well, chaos, probably. Probably chaos.)
