She jabbed a finger in the hero's chest, "Why do you insist on feeding me?!" she accused, "What do you have to gain from it all, hmm?!" her eyes were predatory, filled to the brim with frustration.
"M-Ms. Luthor, I don't know what you're talking about." Supergirl stuttered.
"The coffees, and croissants, and sushi, and salads. All of it! Why are you bringing me food everyday? I'm not crazy, I've seen your cape flying about! I'm more than capable of feeding myself, you don't need to bring me food, Supergirl!"

This fic ended up talking a lot from Lena's POV and in general showcases Lena being a super-businesswoman (like an office work fic basically). Roughly takes place in season 2. One chapter has rated E content and has been labeled as such, all other chapters are T.

Until Lena finds herself stranded at a teahouse in the south of England, her trip to Paris delayed, and unable to bring herself to leave for some reason, finding that her heart doesn't need to be fixed; it just needs to be loved by the right person.

She was sent away from her home at 12 years old along with her baby cousin, she literally watched her planet die before being cast into a timeless prison, she came to earth two dozen years late, her mission no longer standing as her younger cousin was now “Superman” and she was still the small, weak 12 year old that left Krypton. It was understandable she was angry, that she felt resent for the only family she had left and refused to comply to the law of humans. Wasn't it? Dark Kara?
