Summary
Cal’s gloves are ripped to shreds, from dragging himself through the ship or his fight with Trilla, it doesn’t matter, but he can feel Cere dying in his arms, her shock and pain writing themselves into the fabric of her clothes, the very air around her, and Cal feels torturously doubled, his own death fast approaching. Darth Vader is a cataclysmic event, and Cal, delirious with pain, scrambles to catch the hilt of his saber as he begins to drag it out their corpses – and that’s what he and Cere are, corpses, with only a last few seconds of misfiring neurons left in them, no matter how much BD-1 trills and punches stim after stim into his arm – they are tipping past that point of no return now, and Cal needs to do something right now before it’s too late for – for what?

An AU in which Kratos does not kill Heimdall in Vanaheim and starts the journey of redemption for the wayward arrogant Aesir god. Odin in his all-knowing wisdom has convinced Heimdall his worth is dependent on his ability to comply with his wishes and has convinced the young Aesir god that that is what family love is.
In his 'capture' with the group of traitors, Heimdall's captors try to convince him that he is not unlovable as he has always believed himself to be. Heimdall is not so sure that he agrees with their sentiments though.- Language:

Summary
This is a series focusing on what happens to Cal in a what-if timeline following the end of Jedi: Fallen Order where he looses to Trilla during their fight in the Fortress.
The plan is to write a total of 8 ~20K word novellas with an overarching story-line, with the first half focusing on Cal's descent into the Dark Side and the second half focusing on his coming to terms with his place in the Empire.
