The fight with Shroud and the Red Ring was over. The Z-Team had proven themselves as heroes. The team got to enjoy a well-earned day off before helping with the recovery efforts.
But amidst all the celebrations and recovery prep, everyone forgot to check on the dispatcher who had just been tortured by Shroud the night before-- a dispatcher who was too selfless to ask for medical attention. And when his injuries finally catch up to him, it's enough to send the whole team reeling.

3 months after Shrouds defeat, the Z team becomes an actual hero team, though not superheroes, they become actual decent ones under the guide of Robert Robertson III, coupé was allowed back on the team and Phenomaman had officially joined the team. Everyone was happy but you could never jinx fate eh?
Roberts mental health had taken a toll on him, it had catched up and made his physical health much more worst. How much longer can he keep it a secret from the team?

Summary
Defeating Shroud had been a sort of distant dream for Robert since he woke up from the coma the masked fucker put him in. It had always felt so distant, so impossible on paper, especially without the Mecha Man suit. The fact that such a pipe dream had become reality was just…so therapeutic.
After the end of the Red Ring, Robert keeps working with Z-Team to keep Torrence safe. Unbeknownst to him, a steadily simmering tension between himself and several of his coworkers is about to boil over...hopefully, he'll be able to survive their affections long enough to actually do his job.

The thing about plastic chairs is that they weren't a great substitute for an actual bed; the other thing is, Robert can't exactly afford to be picky and even if he 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 the internal debate is still ongoing as to whether or not he deserves a mattress at this current point in his life.
So, the plastic chair stays and is staying for the foreseeable future. Besides, it's charming - in a depressing, minimalism-that-is-totally-not-a-reflection-of-his-inner-sense-of-worth way.
