A few months after Markus' victory, things are slowly starting to settle down. Connor, now officially working in the DPD, has a new case! Very normal stuff!
If you can call an android with his legs removed and thirium pumped outside normal, that is. The windows are locked. The door, also locked. The only witnesses are in varying stages of trauma. There is a guy he is sharing a skull with who would get shot for a hint of evidence. As I said, normal stuff.TL;DR: things start okay. Then hit rock bottom. Suddenly, miraculously, with an act of god: they find a shovel and a pickaxe.

Summary
The fragile peace they built over two years dies on a trip to Russia. After watching Connor get killed with no backups to save him this time, Hank is left to pick up the pieces of a life he barely managed to stitch together in the first place.
While Hank spirals back into his absolute worst habits and Markus suffocates under the guilt of a failed mission, the world around Hank starts to glitch. It begins with strange errors flooding his phone screen, but things suddenly escalate to even the freaking traffic lights acting like they have a mind of their own whenever he drives around the city. Hank is now absolutely sure he’s losing his grip on reality and heading straight for a psych ward.

Connor dies overseas without a backup. Hank is 90% sure he’s losing his shit and the other 10% is terrified he’s right.
