Summary
Jamikali fics written to answer All Ships Week prompts.
Day 1: "Don't call me that"
Kalim tilts his head to the left. Calling Jamil by his last name? That's unusual. A few students do this, but most people who know him settle on his first name pretty quickly. But when he glances at Jamil, he doesn't seem displeased by that. Does he like it then? Closing his eyes to remember if Jamil has ever said anything about being against getting called “Viper”, Kalim grimaces – the only thing that comes to his mind is him getting scolded for saying Jamil's name too much. Then, shall Kalim use his last name instead?

Summary
Anonymous asked: hey do you have beef with that sorcerer of the sands/ruler of the oasis writer? your comments were pretty harsh…
scaldingviper answered: I don’t have any feelings whatsoever on the matter. Their happy-go-lucky uncaring attitude just annoyed me when going through the ship tag is all. I just told them things most people (idiots aside) should know by now. You can’t hope to rely on people’s good will forever. Plus they were fine with it so why would it matter to you?
Or: A glimpse into Twisblr (Tumblr in the twst world) and Jamil's annoyance with a certain writer who's only here to have fun.

Summary
“Aw, it’s rare to see you sleeping in!”
Your eyes open instantly and you stare at the emptiness of the apartment, a place that doesn’t feel lived in aside from the foreign trinkets decorating one of its corners. There’s a sun spot that seems to move on the wall opposite to you, unable to stay in place and too bright to look at for long.
“Did you spend all night working again?”
“Idiot.”
Big talk coming from someone who never managed to wake up before you until the very end. You’re allowed to sleep in – there’s no one waiting for you.
Or: You, Jamil Viper, are chasing after a summer ghost.
