Or, I wanted to make everything even more violent and traumatizing and give R + Hr their flowers and an even worse time, to really get them on par with Harry.
Or, I wrote a silly little Rarry one-shot the other night and then spent twelve hours vomiting this onto the page. I changed some things, kept a couple characters alive, killed Percy, made it an actual slow-burn...

Summary
"At twenty-three years old, crawling toward his twenty-fourth birthday, his brother's age made Fred feel uncomfortable. Clearly, Ron had a different appearance from their younger years - as did he. However, it hadn't been until they were defeated in the war that Fred fully acknowledge this fact. It was a detail that just escaped your attention as you interacted with someone daily, only resurfacing in your memory when you saw old photos.
But each time Fred caught sight of Ron now, he observed a new change that added to his maturing appearance. He supposed it was only logical, given that he only had the opportunity to see him twelve times a year, each instance for only a few hours. But still, it felt wrong - excruciatingly so."
Voldemort won.
No one really knew how it had happened, but it had. Voldemort had won, Harry Potter was dead, and five years later, everyone had slowly assimilated into the new normal.
Though, not everyone was coping with the change all that well.

Starting in December of 2003 with the murder of Midoriya Izuku's foster sister Eri, and ending sometime late that summer, the seven of them made a promise while holding hands in a circle in the middle of a creek, palms cut open, dirty and exhausted- they all promised to come back if it started again.
Now, eighteen years later, they have to make good on that promise and go back- back to Irusu- back home.
An “IT” AU, based on the book and its structure (but with that one part removed).

The thin wall that separated them at night sometimes felt like the only thing that kept Armin’s relationship with Jean wobbling between platonic and romantic, between roommates and lovers. It knew all his secrets, knew how often Armin slipped under the sheets at a quarter to four and sated his body’s urges with thoughts of Jean in his mind.
