Remy is captured by the Weapon X program that is dedicated to the idea of figuring out werecreatures’ secrets and using them to make weapons. His half werecreature status (that he is not aware of) has lead him into some issues.

But then there is a little oopsie daisies and Remy is launched backwards in time. He finds a young Victor Creed and gets attached.
And then he blips. And shows up later in Victor's life. Then blips again and again and again. He becomes Victor's semi-constant companion through time. Blinking away years as he wonders if home is somewhere he is traveling back to or if Victor has somehow become home.
