Marinette knew she'd have to face the music eventually.
With having the Ladyblogger as a best friend, she knew a relationship with Adrien would not get past her best friend.
So that was why she and Adrien had come up with a plan to slowly ease everyone into the relationship. Well, as slow as they could, she'd admit.
But then Marinette remembered she promised her kitty that she'd kissed him before he could even ask her out.
And Ladybug was never one to break her promises, now was she?

Yes, she was best friends with the Ladyblogger – which meant she was able to see first-hand the sheer determination that drove Alya to figure out the identities of Paris’s two main superheroes. But… as she sat in the classroom, listening to Alya rant about how Marinette was definitely Chat Noir, and she was certain of it, Marinette couldn’t help but wonder what in the hell had caused her to come to that conclusion.

But he's magic now! He has an invisibility cloak! And he's had a lot of practice lying still and pretending he doesn't exist. So he can definitely hide out and avoid being put back on the Hogwarts Express, right? Nothing can go wrong with an eleven year old by themselves for 9 weeks in a wild, magical castle, can it?
