Summary
Sera arrived in London in 1926 with nothing. With no money and no support system, she relied heavily on her skills on the stage. She sang for her supper and scrabbled for a place in the city, and never expected to find an ally.
Keir was strange, at times, but it could largely be explained by his... condition. Sera suspected it was normal for vampires to disappear for weeks at a time, be prone to moodiness, and lack any great understanding of human affairs. Still, he enjoyed the arts nearly as much as she did, and he did not mind that she was what most would call trouble. Trouble, because she lives alone, dresses and she likes, and says what she means. She finds in him a dear friend, and for three years, it is as simple as that.
Simple, until an old friend of Keir's arrives in London and gains a morbid fascination for his relationship with Sera.

Summary
The thing pauses, lips pulling into a perfectly white smile. It reminds Tommy of a shark. “Can I have your name, little one?”
Tommy shudders. That question is all wrong and he may not know what’s before him, what it’s truly asking of him, but he knows he cannot say his name.
