‘Yeah and this isn’t one of them.’ Clint scowls.
‘Clint, it’s a child.’ Steve reasons.
‘Magic demon child.’ Clint grumbles, wincing when Natasha elbows him in the ribs.
‘I’m afraid I don’t have much time, I have to return to Asgard. Are you able to provide sanctuary for him while we figure this out?’ Thor says, an uneasy expression on his face.
Tony can’t say no to those puppy dog eyes. ‘Course we can, Big Guy.’

While waiting for his punishment, Loki is turned back into his ten year old self. To protect his much younger brother from Odin's wrath, Thor takes Loki to the Avengers for protection. -

Summary
What if instead of using him to catch sylvie Mobius saw the potential in Loki to be good? The only problem is having a fully grown Loki, powerless or not, running around the TVA was simply not a good idea. As a solution they decide to deage him and luckily Mobius is there to look after him and give him a second chance.

It’d take his breath away, if he had any. Strangely, a sensation of pure relief fills him as he watches a silent tear slide down Loki’s pale cheek. He’s almost… happy that this is the last thing he’ll ever see. If only Loki didn’t look so sad.
Loki opens his mouth to speak—and then he’s gone.
Mobius opens his eyes.
Overwhelmed with loss after Loki’s dramatic self-sacrifice, Mobius finds that existence is too much to bear if it means never seeing Loki again. Oddly enough, that’s exactly how it happens.

“Really?” Loki was honestly surprised that anything as interesting as dancing would take place somewhere so sterile and joyless. “I didn’t think they went in for fun at the TVA.”
Mobius brings Loki to join his dance class. Not everyone is okay with it.
