Sam’s all long legs just like she was before she left, but her knees aren’t as knobbly anymore. Golden honey skin and her hair plastered to her forehead and the back of her neck. Leg hair too – stands out next to Dean’s blonde, peeking out of the holes in the worn-soft denim, half transparent in the sun. Her suit’s black – practical. Short swim trunks that cover just the barest edge of her thigh, and a sports bra-like top that frames her shoulders and leaves the strip of skin between her navel and ribcage bare.
Dean feels sick, so fucking sick, with how bad she wants.

He’s given up on trying to force his eyes closed a while ago and instead he just stares at the ceiling, focusing on the dull gray of it in the dark. Not red. It’s not red, the bunker is not in danger - from himself - and Dean’s just down the hall.
