Summary
The Guren Squad reunites for a day every month to do the usual things they do when they were sixteen, celebrating their friend's relationship as well. The game they decided to play was different, playing a casual game of Never Have I Ever with the Squad. After the game, the Squad realizes that Shinya hasn't done some activities that children usually do when they were younger with their family. Ever since their confession at the Hotel, Guren and Shinya still have yet to go on a date.
Thanks to the game that was thought to be just a fun play, Guren takes this opportunity to finally bring his boyfriend out on a date.

“Shut up!” Shinya grabs his face, ocean eyes in a desperate attempt to locate the violet ones beneath the crimson. “Shut up…” he breathes, heart clenching at the sight of a face that he once adored, those lips that he’d have given anything to taste just once.
“Lovesick,” the demon clicks his tongue, grinning. “Go ahead, kiss him. Just as selfishly as you’ve kept him alive.”
“I didn’t—” he begins, clamping his mouth shut just then, realising that he must not let the demon get below his skin. “Guren,” he whispers then, “come back to me, please.”

in the eyes of humanity that remained, the war was nothing but the fall of hiiragi clan. they'd seen their end at the hands of vampires and the betrayal of guren ichinose who was later stabbed to death too.
but that was all they knew.
one thing that they'll never know, shinya believes, is the fact that the powerful entity chained below in the dungeons was guren himself - still alive and battling his inner demons.
