It was like an itch. If nothing was done about it, eventually, it would go away. Fade into the background, like a ticking clock, or a buzzing lightbulb. Sometimes, however, it was too much: The clock became the only thing he could hear, slowly chipping away at his carefully crafted mentality. Someone would point out the clock, and he would have to say he couldn’t even hear one.
The buzzing hurt his head. The light was too bright.
Much too bright. Not like how the sun provided sanctuary from the dark, how it shines off water, or how it rises every day, despite sadness— despite war. Not how his classmates shine. Not how they fill the sky with explosions and fire and lightning.

If you were to ask any hero their opinion,they would all give a different answer,some hate him just as much as the commission,others say he’s just a kid with too much freedom and not enough guidance. If you asked Katsuki though? He’d say he’s a total pussy.

The vigilante red riot, was loved by civilians and hated by reporters, apparently this guy was so good at hiding no one’s ever really seen him, the only thing people could actually remember after they were saved was that pointy red hair seen fleeing the scene. Katsuki could give less of a shit, that is until the classes dumb trip to the mall.

It was real, it was exciting like nothing he's ever felt before. It was terrifying, exhilarating. It made his heart race, and his head spin. It made him want to yell it from the tallest building, and whisper it into the night. He wanted to let the whole world know, and keep it all to himself. He wanted to hide it away in the darkest corner of his room, shove it in his chest and let the love grow under the sunlight gleaming from his heart.
