Summary
After the event of the seventh Lostbelt, The Storm Border finally got back in Novum Chaldea as they celebrate their hard-won battle. Fujimaru Ritsuka requested a few days of rest out of exhaustion. Director Goredolf and Da Vinci agree wholeheartedly as they grant it. Unfortunately, an unstable grail was located in an odd parallel world. Planning to investigate it, Chaldea once again hesitantly decides to send the Last Master of Humanity. With no other choice, Ritsuka agrees to be sent there hoping to solve it quickly. In the midst of their preparation, a strange energy was felt in the command room before a rift suddenly opened behind him as he was pulled in. Not one servant was able to travel with him as he was taken to the unknown world all alone.
With nothing but his wits and the "gifts" of his servants. Ritsuka will have to investigate and solve this unknown world if he ever wants to return to Chaldea again.

Summary
Abaddon had a lot to say about how the Thinker and Warrior implement the cycle. Why let shards fall out of the cycle just because their fleshy hosts had died, having to wait for inexperienced new hosts to appear? Why not just recreate them in one of the other parralel Earths different to their own to continue the cycle to maximise data collection!? A wonderful idea!
Unfortunately, the burden of this work fell upon the Queen Administrator shard. By the time she triggered, Taylor's shard was already done with it all, especially the posing as a goddess part. And hey, might as well hire an assistant, right?
Taylor was going to take the strange opportunity for all it was worth. Not dying being the first and most important.

“What are you doing?” Jinx yells, her voice suddenly coming alive. Panic and confusion war in her eyes as she twists to look at him, the wind stealing her voice as soon as it escapes her mouth. “This was only supposed to be me!”
“Yeah, well,” Ekko shouts back, heart in his throat. “I couldn’t let you leave me again.”
He reaches for the pull string one more time as the floor rises up faster and faster. He grips onto her with all of his strength, and prays that the anomaly will have enough juice to save them both. As he finally pulls he doesn’t notice the crack running up the side of the glass, or the ominous tick as his stopwatch ticks past the red line he’d drawn with one of Powder’s oil crayons.

Ekko accidentally brings him and Jinx back to before it all began. Now, they have to struggle to fix the mistakes of the past while figuring out how to heal. But, hey, at least they're together.
